- I am writing to seek clarification on the $20,000 fee. Would it be possible for you to clarify your expectations? The budget amount of the award of $20,000 shall cover labor for all tasks outlined in the RFP’s Scope of Work and A/V equipment, materials (including production and mailing of marketing materials), office expenses, mileage to conference planning meetings and travel/hotel costs for the conference planner(s) and incidentals.
- Do you typically favor west coast firms/conference planners? Pursuant to laws governing our funding, an applicant’s geographic location is not taken into consideration during the selection process. Selection is based solely on Selection Criteria set forth in the RFP.
- The RFP says the total amount awarded shall not exceed $20,000. Does that $20,000 include labor as well as equipment/materials costs such as AV rentals, food and beverage, printing of the marketing materials, etc? Please refer to the response for question #1. The cost for food and beverage will be the responsibility of the Association.
